Reimagining an iconic character through the warmth of clay

The challenge was to turn the long-loved Peko-chan into an event kit that participants could make by hand, creating a deeper personal connection with the character.

We preserved Peko-chan’s familiar expression and silhouette while adapting the number of clay pieces and making steps for an approachable event experience.

The completed kit was developed for a planned event, with the act of shaping the character designed to strengthen awareness and affection.
