Figure prototype and display work

01
Challenge

What needed to change

The Bambi character needed to be modeled as the prototype for a boxed mini figure while preserving its gentle storybook expression and clay-like warmth.

02
Approach

How we shaped the answer

We carefully rebuilt the large eyes, ears and rounded form that define Bambi, exploring a production-ready prototype without losing the expression and texture of the original clay work.

03
Outcome

What the work created

The figure was not commercialized because the clay character could not be reproduced satisfactorily in mass production. The original work was nevertheless well received and later led to display and merchandise discussions.
